The launch of the online shop is scheduled for April 2006.

I have been busy finding suppliers, and have some exceptionally fine things to offer you when the shop opens.

I will post more photos as soon as these can be arranged to give you all a taster of what's to come.

The ceramics currently showing are made by Chris Soule, one of Suffolk's foremost potters. Chris has been potting for over 30 years and has designed for Terrance Conran, David Mellor Cook Shops, and Debenhams Cook Shop. He has also supplied Harrods and Heals.

He uses reactive glazes of his own design. These give the distinctive mottled effect, and the depth of colour. It is a strong, hard glaze, ideally suited to these everyday items. In particular, it is highly resistant to tea and coffee stains, so the mugs keep their appearance.
